Body pulled out of Seattle’s Green Lake Monday afternoon

A body was pulled out of Green Lake in Seattle Monday afternoon, Seattle Fire confirmed.
Fire crews arrived at the scene after someone called to report seeing someone in the water. Fire personnel pulled the person out at approximately 3:30 p.m. Monday, but they were pronounced dead at the scene.
7200 block of Green Lake Dr. N.: Crews responded to a report of a person in the water. The patient was pulled from the water and, unfortunately, pronounced deceased. SPD and KCMEO have been notified.

As of this reporting, it’s unclear if the person drowned. The identity of the person has yet to be revealed.
