Sail-In Cinema Reveals Its 2026 Movie Lineup
Summer movie nights are making a return to Everett’s waterfront. The Port of Everett recently announced the lineup for the 11th season of Sail-In Cinema, a free outdoor movie series at Boxcar Park. Beginning July 24 and continuing through Aug. 21, moviegoers can expect family favorites and recent blockbusters, including “Kicking and Screaming,” “Captain America: Brave New World, “Back to the Future,” “Lilo & Stitch,” and “Zootopia 2,” all on a 40-foot inflatable screen. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for lawn games, concessions, and free popcorn before the movies begin at sunset. More information can be found here.
Eastrail Kicks Off Summer Concert Series
Looking for an easy way to spend a summer evening? Eastrail Partners is launching its free Summer Concert Series with a performance by local band Vlad and the Dads on July 8 at Kirkland’s Feriton Spur Park Amphitheater. The family-friendly concert runs from 6-8 p.m. and will feature a mix of classic rock, blues, and favorites from the Seattle grunge era. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair, pack a picnic, or grab a bite from the nearby Chainline Station before the tunes start. Get more details here.
$5 Yoga in the Park
Sometimes the best way to spend a summer morning is simply getting outside. Bellevue’s $5 Yoga in the Park returns every Saturday now through September from 10-11:15 a.m., welcoming participants of all experience levels to Bellevue Downtown Park. Led by instructor Laurie Sasser, the outdoor classes look to combine gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation in an accessible setting. Bring a yoga mat, a bottle of water, and expect a relaxing start to your weekend for $5. All veterans, though, can participate for free. Learn more here.
