The Boeing Classic PGA Tour Champions Event Tees Off in Less Than a Month

Tickets are now on sale for the Boeing Classic, a PGA Tour Champions event taking place Aug. 14-16 at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge.

The pro tournament for golfers 50 and over, now in its 21st year, was co-founded by Tacoma-based Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and the Seattle Seahawks. The tournament’s title sponsor is The Boeing Co., and its prize purse is $2.3 million.

“The annual Boeing Classic is an event we celebrate with immense pride and excitement here in the Pacific Northwest,” Julie Manas, president of CommonSpirit Health’s Northwest Region, which includes Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, said in a news release. “For more than two decades, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health has been a proud partner in this world-class tournament. It’s an event that not only treats our community to some of golf’s most elite competitors, but also fuels our critical work in lifesaving care and groundbreaking medical research.”

In addition to golf, the tournament serves as a fundraising event and has raised more than $12 million since the inaugural event in 2005. Funding supports local nonprofits, including VMFH and The First Tee of Greater Seattle, which teaches kids and teens life lessons and leadership skills through the game of golf. Funds raised for VMFH advance clinical research, care, and innovation across Puget Sound, supporting all eight hospitals in VMFH’s health system.

“The Boeing Classic is a testament to the power of community coming together for a shared purpose,” Karin Huelsbeck, interim chief philanthropy officer at VMFH, added in the release. “We are deeply grateful for our longstanding partnership with The Boeing Company and the Seattle Seahawks. All who participate in making the tournament possible and the fans who attend create a lasting legacy of health and well-being for our region.”

Tournament Director Ryan Ingalls said the event will host some of the world’s finest golfers.

“We are grateful for The Boeing Company, the Seattle Seahawks, and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health for their unwavering partnership in bringing this cherished community event to life, and we look forward to bringing the community back to the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge for a weekend filled with family-friendly fun, and world-class golf,” Ingalls said in a statement.

The past five winners of the tournament have included Steve Allan, 2025; Stephen Ames, 2024 and 2023; Miguel Angel Jiminez, 2022; and Rod Pampling, 2021. All winners dating to 2005 are available at this tournament link.

Family attractions at the event include an interactive football zone, Seahawks Village, where attendees can meet Seahawks legend Cliff Avril, who will sign autographs from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 15. Throughout the weekend, families can enjoy crafts, a putting contest, 20-yard dash, and a lounge area overlooking the 18th green. Seahawks Village will welcome visitors 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Boeing Classic Youth Clinic will occur at noon on Aug. 13. Youth ages 6-18 are invited to experience professional golf, receive instruction from a PGA Tour Champions professional, and get a prize pack. No golf clubs are needed for this event, which is hosted in partnership with The First Tee of Greater Seattle and is open to the public.

Advance tickets for the Boeing Classic start at $20. Children under 14 are free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Spectators can upgrade tickets and watch the action from vantage points that include the ANA Lounge and Alaska Airlines Canyon Club.
