The Kent Police Department issued a “missing vulnerable adult” alert after a resident went missing in early July.

“Nia Manasseh, age 58, has been missing since early July,” the alert read. “She has mental health issues, and her family is very concerned.”

Manasseh is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. She has green/brown eyes.

Manasseh was taken to a service provider in Kirkland on July 9 after the Kent Police Department contacted her. Kent police contacted her again a short time later at a bus stop near Lake Fenwick and Reith Road.

“She has a residence in the 1400 block of W. Meeker Street, but for reasons unknown, she was sleeping in her vehicle,” the Kent Police Department stated.

Then, on July 12, her car was found abandoned and unsecured in a downtown parking lot in Kent.

If anyone has information about Nia’s whereabouts, please call the non-emergency line at (253) 852-2121 or call 911 if the information is time-sensitive. The department additionally warned the public not to leave tips in the comment section of the post, as she is a vulnerable adult and Kent police doesn’t want that information posted to the public.
