Harbor Hopper Adds Midday Sailings for August

The Harbor Hopper, the seasonal, walk-on ferry service operated through a partnership between the Port of Everett and the Port of South Whidbey, is bolstering its availability next month.
“You asked, we listened — and thanks to our port partnership and flexibility of the Hat Island Ferry crew, we are enhancing the Harbor Hopper schedule,” Port of Everett Chief of Business Development & Tourism Catherine Soper said in a recent release about the Hopper, which connects the Port of Everett Marina with Langley’s waterfront by way of the Hat Island Ferry.
Beginning Aug. 1, the regular Saturday sailings that depart Everett at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (returning at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., respectively) will be joined by new midday sailings set to depart at 1 p.m. and return at 2 p.m. Trips last between 30 and 45 minutes.
Thursday-evening departures have also shifted to earlier sailing times for the remainder of the pilot program, which will run through the end of August.
Roundtrip fares range from $16-20.
