The Kitsap Economic Development Alliance recently released Kitsap Tools for Success, a new online toolkit designed to help current and prospective child care providers start, grow, and manage their businesses.
Created in partnership with the Child Care Action Council, the resource brings together information on licensing, permitting, business planning, financing, workforce development, insurance, training, and other essential topics in one place, making it easier for providers to navigate the process of opening or expanding a licensed child care business, according to a press release.
“Child care providers are entrepreneurs navigating one of the most complex regulatory environments of any small business,” KEDA Economic Development Manager James Davis said in the release. “Our goal was to create a practical resource that reduces uncertainty, connects providers with the right partners, and helps more child care businesses succeed.”
