Deadly stabbing near Bonney Lake: Suspect barricaded, SWAT on scene

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly stabbing near Bonney Lake.
Deputies were called to the 20200 block of 101st Street E., where investigators said one person was killed.
The scene remains active, with SWAT teams surrounding a home as the suspected attacker remains barricaded inside.
“Please avoid the area if you can,” the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office stated. “More information will be available once the scene is safe.”
No other details have been released.
