Deputies rescue driver after car goes into water on Kitsap County’s Beach Drive

A car landed in the water on Beach Drive in Kitsap County early Monday morning.
The driver had to be rescued by Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies and was later hospitalized for treatment, KCSO announced.
Excessive speed is suspected as the reason for the crash, though no evidence of impairment was found.
KCSO noted that the investigation remains ongoing.
