Tacoma Team Reps the Northwest in Little League Baseball World Series Action

The Seattle Mariners’ chances at making the World Series might look unlikely this year, but not for Soundview Little League of Tacoma.
Soundview will represent the Northwest in the Little League Baseball World Series that kicks off Wednesday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, after winning the regional title game last week, 8-5, over a team from Eagle, Idaho.
Soundview will begin its World Series play against Phenix City Youth Baseball Little League of Phenix City, Alabama, which is representing the Southeast among the 10 U.S. teams. The game will be televised on ESPN at noon Pacific Time.
Wednesday’s action also will be available to stream live on Disney+, according to the Little League Baseball World Series website’s media page. All 38 World Series games will air across ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC, with the Aug. 30 championship game on ABC featuring the winner of the U.S. bracket versus the winner of the 10-team international bracket.
