Seattle performer Cory Black was awarded third-place status and a bronze medal at the 2026 International Jugglers’ Association Championships.
The 79th annual festival was held July 27-Aug. 2 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The event draws many of the world’s top jugglers, who compete before a live audience.
“I’ve spent years developing this act, so earning a medal at the IJA Championships was a really meaningful milestone for me,” said Black in a press release. “It’s incredibly rewarding to have this act recognized by the juggling community.”
Black’s act combines elite freestyle football with traditional toss juggling, a combination developed across more than 16 years of freestyle football practice and 11 years of juggling training.
Based in Seattle, Black performs across the country at corporate events, festivals, theaters, sporting events, and touring circus productions.
