Tow-truck driver airlifted to hospital after being hit by car in Mason County

A tow-truck driver was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being hit by a car while on the job.
It happened in Mason County.
According to troopers with the Washington State Patrol, the driver has a broken ankle.
The crash happened Sunday on the shoulder of State Route 302 near E Nahum Lane.
Troopers said the tow truck driver was trying to remove a car from a prior crash at the time.
The causing driver was arrested, suspected of driving under the influence.
