Multiple Seattle-based pizza chains are launching partnerships with other Puget Sound favorites this Thursday through October.

Pagliacci’s is partnering with Taco Time, while Big Mario’s is putting Ivar’s clam chowder, bacon, Fontina, and leeks on a pizza.

Pagliacci x Taco Time

Pagliacci has formed a limited-time partnership with Taco Time Northwest, lasting from Oct. 1 through Oct. 27.

Topped with Taco Time’s original hot sauce, the pizza features the taco chain’s seasoned ground beef, crispy Tater Fries, 60-day-aged cheddar, Pagliacci mozzarella, and onions. It also has house-made pico de gallo (Roma tomatoes, Anaheim peppers, red onion, cilantro, lime), a drizzle of Taco Time Ranch, and fresh parsley.

“I’m super excited about this pizza. Taco Time is a Seattle icon. I grew up going there and loving it as a kid,” Matt Galvin, one of the co-owners of Pagliacci, said. “My first job, I sold them products, and I was so impressed by how the matriarch, Beckie Tonkin, treated me — with such care and respect, not that I’d earned it. Getting to know Robby, Chris, and the rest of the Taco Time group has only strengthened my admiration for their family-owned business.”

Pagliacci has 27 locations, while Taco Time has 74.

“We are huge fans of Pagliacci. We love their food, their people, and their purpose. When a brand that shares so many of our values asks to build a pizza around our food, the answer comes easy,” Robby Tonkin, co-president of Taco Time Northwest, said. “In our 64 years, the Taco Time name has never been on another restaurant’s menu. We’re proud Pagliacci is the first, and we’re blown away by how good this pizza tastes.”

Big Mario’s x Ivar’s

Meanwhile, Big Mario’s is launching a collaborative pizza with Ivar’s called The Clam Chowder Bread Bowl Pizza.

The pizza will include Ivar’s clam chowder, bacon, Fontina, and leeks.

“The Clam Chowder Bread Bowl Pizza is like a whole bread bowl reimagined into an iconic Big Mario’s NY Slice,” Big Mario’s stated on social media. “This limited edition pie will be available all October long for Pizza Month and Seafood Month. We can’t wait for you to try this one.”
