23-year-old man injured in overnight Northgate shooting

A 23-year-old man was shot overnight in Northgate on Monday morning.
At roughly 12:30 a.m., a witness called 911 reporting that one gunshot was heard near the 11000 block of 8th Avenue NE, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) confirmed.
While officers were on the way, another caller advised that someone was shot. Officers located the victim in a parking lot with two gunshot wounds.
SPD officers provided medical attention to the victim until the Seattle Fire Department transported him to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
SPD noted that a scene was located north of where the injured victim was found.
Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives have been assigned to the case.
