Woman shot in chest inside Milton home, suspect at large

A woman is in critical condition after a shooting in Milton.
According to the Milton Police Department, multiple bullets tore through a home early Thursday morning, hitting the woman once in the chest.
Police were contacted at approximately 2:30 a.m. and were dispatched to a home on 15th Avenue E. The victim was found with injuries to her chest and was rushed to the hospital. She is currently in critical condition, as of this reporting.
The shooter is still on the loose, but police believe the attack appears isolated. The Milton Police Department has stated it does not believe thre is an active threat to the community.
