My daughter joined me in the studio to talk about how 12-year-olds see the election cycle this year.

She thinks Hillary is going to win, partly because Trump is disliked by so many people. But she also compares Hillary to a Harry Potter character whose slogan was “I must not tell lies,” but was actually the biggest liar of all.

She says kids also say Trump’s hair looks like corn! But they also comment on how he treats women. I asked her if her peers knew about Hillary’s husband past with woman, but she said they don’t really know about that.

My daughter also commented on the Youtubers who are having a huge impact on her peers this election cycle. Some of them have an audience of 60 million viewers. And she sees their support of Hillary as peer pressure being put on kids.

She wonders if what happens in the “Hunger Games” could come to fruition in our country in the future. It was an interesting discussion. Give it a listen!

As always, please listen to the full audio clip for complete context.
