The anti-Trump sentiment continues around Washington and one Everett resident says his Trump sign was set ablaze last week.
Billie told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson that he returned from work Friday to find his Trump sign burnt. The sign is located about 15 feet into his property. Billie said the principle behind the action was more disturbing than the action itself.

“It’s horrible, really. It’s not the purpose of the sign. It’s just it’s in my yard, leave it alone,” he said. “Just respect it.”
Billie, a father of two, said he moved here from Iowa about a year ago. He said he wasn’t nervous about the sign when he first put it up but that “we’re a little bit more cautious now.”
“We’re gonna not put our political views in the yard,” he said.
To which Dori asked: What does that say when only one side is allowed to express their political views?
“Well, that’s just the way it is now,” Billie responded. “It’s a bad situation but, the hardest part is telling your kids.”
