It’s time for Democrats to stop being stunned by the results of their actions.

Michelle Obama sat down with Oprah for a long interview and said, among many things, that color and wealth shouldn’t matter, but they play too much of a role in how we see other.

Herman: Hard left instincts are about political power

I’m sorry, but this women’s husband has spent his entire career separating people by race, income, religion, and political party.

So there are three options. Either:

• Michelle Obama doesn’t really mean it.
• She said it because she knew it would sound good.
• Or she means it, but is unaware of what the Democrats are doing tactically.

With all due respect to Mrs. Obama, this has become worse under her husband’s administration because they have pushed this view. And it’s not just the White House. In King County, the council has erected a racial quota for filling posts for elected officials.

But Michelle Obama says it’s tragic when people are judged by their skin color.

You can’t spend a career separating people by race and religion and then be surprised when people respond to that. You don’t get to be shocked.

As always, please listen to the full audio clip for complete context.
