A pedestrian was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a car in Everett Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred in the 6900 block of Seaway Boulevard.

The northbound lanes of Seaway are closed from 75th to Merrill Creek while police investigate.

Officer Aaron Snell with Everett Police says the crash happened just before 7 a.m.

“It appears that the driver was headed to work, veered off the road, and hit the pedestrian walking on side of road,” he said.

He says the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
No information has been given about the victim.
