2 men fatally shot overnight in Burien, South Seattle

Two men are dead in two shootings that happened less than 30 minutes apart overnight in King County.
One shooting happened in South Seattle in the 8300 block of Rainier Avenue South in the Rainier Valley just after midnight.
The other happened minutes later off of Ambaum Boulevard Southwest and Southwest 136th Street Ambaum Boulevard Southwest and Southwest 136th Street in Burien.
In the Burien shooting, a man was waiting for someone to pick him up when he was shot from an alley near some apartments behind an AM/PM store.
The victim was found at the AM/PM store. Officers and medics were called and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to King County Sheriff’s deputies.
As many as 20 shell casings were found at the scene.
No one has been arrested.
In the South Seattle shooting, Seattle police officers were on routine patrol when they heard gunshots and saw three suspects run away just after midnight Wednesday.
A man was found dead.
One suspect who was taken into custody was armed with a pistol. Two other suspects remain at large.
An AK-47 that had been dropped was also recovered.
A third fatal shooting occurred Tuesday afternoon in Federal Way on Dash Point Road and Pacific Highway South. A 19-year-old Kent man was the victim. Read the full story here.
