The deadly political polarization in Washington D.C.

I’ve received notes from people in Washington D.C. that say “this” has to end. What is “this?” The hatred that is going on in our Capitol, on both sides. This political polarization has to be addressed.

We care so much for our country, but the government is invading and involving itself in every square inch of our life. And that makes people more emotional.

Politics have worked themselves far into our daily lives. Look at health care: some people say the government is going to provide you “health care,” the other side says the government is going to take it away from you. No wonder people are so emotional about everything.

How do we have discussions but not be polarized like D.C.?    

The left can’t believe Trump won and has created the resistance; that’s the language of war. This stirs people up and can cause further violence.

We need to talk about how we can come together again.
