Those whiskey swillin’, women lovin’, music makin’ men in black (or, as it turns out now, white) you love to love are back. Brent Amaker and The Rodeo are set to release their latest and greatest album, Year of the Dragon, this coming June via Fin Records. The boys were recently signed to the Ballard based record label and Brent had this to say of the experience:
“I couldn’t be happier to be releasing the next Rodeo LP under the Fin Records imprint. Fin produces high quality product and they keep the focus on the artist. It’s truly exciting to be part of the Fin Records family. Now saddle up and get yourself ready for ‘Year of the Dragon’.

The artwork for the record was made by Afro Samurai artist & creator Takashi Okazaki and the Wall Street Journal premiered the first single ‘Death Is Always Near’, which you can listen to below.

Stayed tuned as Brent Amaker and The Rodeo will be playing an album release show at Neumos this coming June 8th.
