Rage Against The X Factor

The New York Times recently printed a really cool story about a man and a dream. The man is Jon Morter and the dream was trying to get the song ‘Killing in the Name’ by Rage Against the Machine to sell more copies than the new single ‘The Climb’ by Joe McElderry from the British tv show ‘The X Factor’. Why? Because ‘The X Factor’ sucks! Here’s what RATM had to say about the unexpected accomplishment…
“This is a huge victory by and for fans of real music and we extend our heartfelt thanks to every fan and freedom fighter who helped make our anthem of defiance and rebellion the Anarchy Christmas Miracle of 2009.â€
Good job people! It’s about time someone got a huge group together to shut down the man and some of the hot buttered crap music that is out there today. That’s exactly what Rage Against the Machine is all about anyway, right? At least the shutting down the man part.
