My patience with Mitch McConnell has snapped

Aug 11, 2017, 3:11 PM

My patience with Mitch McConnell, especially for blaming the president for the GOP’s inability to repeal Obamacare, has snapped.

This isn’t a hard message to tell the American people, Mitch.

Why is McConnell afraid to point out that the crony capitalist insurance companies are sucking massive profits out of people’s wallets?

The case can be made to the political left and the right. Six billion dollars made by these companies, taken by force. I don’t deride corporations from making profits who have earned them. But in the case of the insurance companies, it’s theft.

Why doesn’t McConnell go around the country telling people that they are being forced to give insurance companies their money? How is this not a platform speech to rally the troops? And why doesn’t McConnell tell Americans that Medicaid is partly to blame for the opioid crisis?

He doesn’t do it because he likes Medicaid. He won’t do it because he likes to see insurance companies make money this way. It’s won’t change things because McConnell wants Obamacare.

I’m done with McConnell.

As always, please listen to the full audio clip for complete context.
