Listener video catches Metro buses running red lights

A listener of KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson Show caught on video King County Metro buses running red lights at an intersection in Renton.

Glenn Reynolds says it’s a common occurrence at this spot and has set up a video monitoring system to catch the violations.

King County Metro says it is investigating the claim.

“It’s been such a big problem in terms of speeding and running the red lights,” Reynolds explained to Dori. “Eventually they’re going to kill somebody.”

Reynolds has been in constant contact with Metro, the City of Renton where this is happening, and the mayor, he said. He will get a response from some city employees, but nothing ever gets done, he told Dori.
