Another stolen iPad recovered from TSA agent

ABC News tracked 10 iPads through airport security. Nine of the iPads left in the plastic bins were returned, but one made it to a TSA agent’s home 30 miles away from the Orlando Airport.

ABC investigators turned on the tracking device as soon as they realized the iPad was taken. It took them to Andy Ramirez’s home where he denied knowing where the iPad was located.

He was outed when an audible alarm on the device went off inside the home. When he realized he had been caught, he blamed his wife.

Ramirez has since been let go from TSA, which said it has a zero-tolerance policy on theft.

It’s not the first time an airport worker has been caught stealing. Just last week, a flight attendant for Seattle-based Horizon was arrested for taking a left-behind iPad to her home.
