Man dies from injuries in Columbia City shooting

Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting in Columbia City that killed a man Thursday evening.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 5600 block of Rainier Avenue South.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he later died.

Police are looking for the suspect, who is described as a black man in his early 20s and wearing a yellow shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
