Helicopter crashes in lake near Arlington

A helicopter is under water after crashing into King Lake, southeast of Arlington in Snohomish County.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A dive team responded with medics to the lake, where an oil sheen remains on the water’s surface.

A neighbor jumped into the water to pull the pilot from the chopper. The pilot is in critical condition at an area hospital.
