On Saturday, October 11, 2025, the fight against ALS comes to Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA, with the Walk to Defeat ALS. The walk begins at 11:30 AM, with check-in starting at 10:00 AM, inviting participants of all ages to take part in a meaningful 1-mile walk for a powerful cause.

Location:
Marymoor Park
6046 W Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE, Redmond, WA 98052

This annual event brings the community together to raise funds and awareness in the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The funds raised through the walk support local programs and services for individuals and families affected by ALS, including education, support groups, access to care, and advocacy initiatives.

Why Your Participation Matters
Every step taken during the Walk to Defeat ALS helps drive innovation toward treatments and ultimately a cure. Participation directly impacts people living with ALS in the local community, providing hope, resources, and support where it’s needed most.

Fundraising & Donations
Contributions to the walk fund both local programs and global, cutting-edge ALS research. Supporters can:

  • Search for a participant to support
  • Search by Walk Team for a participant to support
  • Make a general gift to the Seattle Walk

Your support makes a tangible difference in the fight against ALS, helping families and advancing research toward a future free from the disease.

Join us at Marymoor Park on October 11 and take part in a walk that unites the community, honors those affected by ALS, and pushes forward the mission to defeat this devastating disease.
