This season, The Gee & Ursula Show is spreading comfort and kindness with the “Moments of Joy” Project — small gestures that remind us all that compassion and community still matter.
We know life isn’t easy. Maybe someone you know has faced a tough year — layoffs, illness, caregiving, loss, or just the everyday weight of it all. That’s who this is for.
Joy Baskets — Gifts of Comfort & Care
We’re creating 12 thoughtfully curated gift baskets filled with cozy, comforting items meant to bring peace and a little joy to someone who could use it. Each “Joy Basket” includes:
-
A light perfume or cologne
-
Candles or aromatherapy
-
Cozy socks or gloves
-
Tea, cocoa, or coffee
-
A small gift card ($10–$20 value)
-
A Lillian Loaf Cake — a sweet touch of comfort for every recipient
-
A personal note of encouragement from Gee and Ursula
How It Works
It’s simple:
-
Nominate someone who deserves a moment of joy — through the form below.
-
Tell us why this person could use some extra kindness this season.
-
We’ll select 12 recipients to receive their Joy Baskets before December 5th.
Gee and Ursula will also share excerpts from a few of these heartfelt nominations (with permission) on air — a reminder that even in difficult times, there’s still so much good in our community.
Nominate Someone Today
If you know someone who’s had a rough year, take a minute to lift them up. Your words — and a little kindness — can go a long way.
We are no longer accepting nominations.
