Mark your calendars for an exceptional day of recreation, competition, and community impact. On Thursday, September 10, 2026, the Davis Law Group Charity Golf Tournament will take over the breathtaking Rope Rider golf course and the elegant Swiftwater Cellars at Suncadia Resort.
This premier annual event brings together golfers from across the region to enjoy a championship course while raising vital funds for the life-saving mission of Life Support I-90. Whether you are traveling from the coast, the mountains, or right here in Kittitas County, your presence directly supports the volunteer first responders who keep our mountain corridors safe.
The Cause: Enhancing Emergency Response on Snoqualmie Pass to Upper Kittitas County and surrounding area
The true driving force of this tournament is Life Support I-90, a dedicated non-profit organization focused on boosting emergency response capabilities along the busy Interstate 90 Snoqualmie Pass corridor and throughout the upper Kittitas County region.
Founded and led by Cheri Marusa, the organization was born out of a critical need to address systemic resource inequities faced by volunteer first responders. Over the past two decades, Life Support Donors have played a monumental role in equipping local agencies with the tools they need to save lives, including:
- Extrication and specialized rescue equipment
- Advanced cardiac units and medical supplies
- Funding for primary apparatus and critical EMS materials
- The construction and establishment of three strategically located fire stations
- The recent completion of a state-of-the-art training tower to keep responders highly prepared
Every swing on the green and every bid at the auction directly contributes to protecting the millions of commuters, vacationers, and residents who travel through this rugged mountain pass.
The Tournament: Golf, Games, and Prizes
Players will enjoy a fantastic day of competition on the Rope Rider course. Famed for its immaculate resort conditions, pristine mountain air, and scenic views, Rope Rider offers a beautifully balanced layout. Navigating the tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkers, and natural ponds gives golfers of all skill levels a challenging but rewarding “risk versus reward” experience.
The tournament will be played in a four-person best ball scramble format. In addition to standard team play, golfers can participate in several exciting on-course games and contests, including:
- Closest to the Pin Contest
- The Putting Contest (available during registration)
- “Race to the Rescue” Speed Hole
To help lower your score and support the cause further, players can purchase up to two mulligans individually or as part of the “Golden Ticket” bundle. Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall teams, alongside honors for individual contest winners.
