Lacey police officers discovered a variety of guns, car keys, cash, drugs, and other stolen items when searching the residence of a man arrested for an alleged burglary.

Within a week of the alleged burglary, multiple agencies in Thurston County were able to track the suspect down. According to the Lacey Police Department (LPD), he was an 11-time convicted felon.

“Through an incredible amount of hard work and teamwork from multiple agencies, the suspect was identified,” LPD stated on social media. “A few days later, our friends at Thurston County SWAT were able to take him into custody.”

A laundry list of illegal items for a convicted felon to possess were found in his home and vehicles. Officers uncovered multiple firearms, ammunition, drugs, scales for weighing narcotics, cash related to the sale of drugs, stolen mail, credit cards, IDs, equipment to create credit cards and IDs, washed checks, a drone, and a mailbox.

Additionally, approximately 50 sets of car keys that were presumably stolen were found.

Others connected to the burglary arrested

“During an attempt to contact additional suspect vehicles, one fled from SWAT but was eventually stopped with a PIT maneuver, the second vehicle stopped,” LPD continued in its statement. “Both drivers were taken into custody on various charges.”

The 11-time convicted felon was charged with burglary, 15 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, 15 counts of theft of a firearm, theft, possession of a stolen firearm, unlawful possession with intent to deliver while armed, forgery, and identity theft.

He has since been bailed out of jail.
