Man arrested in connection with shooting that killed 23-year-old woman

A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the Sept. 6 death of a 23-year-old woman. According to the department, she was shot in the head and torso.

Homicide Unit detectives, with the assistance of SWAT and the Gun Violence Reduction Unit, located the suspect and took him into custody.

Police booked the man into King County Jail for investigation of Murder.

The department is asking anyone with additional information to call the violent crimes Tip Line at 206-233-5000. Anonymous tips are accepted.
