18-year-old Bremerton woman arrested for DUI after blowing 6 times the legal limit, driving into power pole

An 18-year-old Bremerton woman was arrested overnight Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving her car into a power pole.
Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies responded to a call for assistance from the Bremerton Police Department at approximately 1:30 a.m., KCSO announced.
The woman had told law enforcement that she fell asleep while driving before she hit the power pole. The woman denied drinking any alcohol.
The woman performed field sobriety tests at the scene, and KCSO determined that she showed signs of impairment.
A breathalyzer test returned a result showing a blood alcohol concentration of .12, which is above the legal limit of .02 for individuals under the age of 21.
The woman was ultimately booked into the Kitsap County Jail on suspicion of DUI.
