Police looking for 2 people connected to $130,000 burglary in Queen Anne

Seattle police need your help to find two people connected to a nearly $130,000 burglary in Queen Anne last month.

On Feb. 19, officers were called to a residence in the 900 block of West McGraw Street after the homeowner returned to find her door forced open and the home ransacked, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD).

“Officers observed damage to the front door and lock,” police said. “Papers were scattered across the floor, and drawers had been opened.”

SPD releases description of suspects, vehicles in Queen Anne burglary

SPD has now released a description of two suspects.

“The masked suspects are described as one with a thin build wearing a gray hoodie, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers,” according to a post on the SPD blotter. “The other has a stocky build, wearing a black hoodie, gray pants, and black and white sneakers.”

Detectives are also trying to identify two vehicles, which they believe to be involved.“One is a white Subaru Outback with no license plates,” the post stated. “The other is a white Dodge Challenger with no license plates; black vinyl wraps on the trunk and hood with blacked out wheels.”

Investigators estimate roughly $130,000 worth of purses, jewelry, and other items were stolen. Detectives are working to determine whether the home was specifically targeted.

“Police checked records for similar burglaries or thefts in the area during the same time frame but did not find any related incidents,” the post stated.
