Washington State Patrol Detectives booked and arrested a man from Burien suspected of attacking women in October and November near the Burien Transit Center.

The King County Prosecutor’s Office said the 42-year-old suspect lured his victims by offering them rides. He would then sexually assault and beat the women at knifepoint, according to probable cause documents.

Detectives said he even bit one of the victims.

The suspect is facing assault charges with sexual motivation.

In one case, he told the victim he was an Uber driver. Investigators believe the alleged suspect could be linked to other attacks.

Prosecutors said, on November 2, 2021, Woods broke into a bar in the 6800 block of 176th St E in South Hill. He stole a safe from the office and attempted to steal the ATM.

Two weeks after those instances, Woods broke into a bar in the 30400 block of Mountain Hwy E between Graham and Eatonville. He attempted to steal an ATM and a coin machine.

Both of these items were found during a search of Woods’ vehicle.

Woods was also arraigned for a domestic violence assault warrant with bail, which was set at $50,000.
