Burien police found a missing boy early Friday morning, and now he’s in trouble for allegedly driving a stolen car.
Deputies said they spotted a Honda Civic just after midnight, weaving around without its lights on.
When they pulled the car over, they discovered the driver was a boy who wasn’t even old enough to have a learner’s permit.
The boy admitted to stealing the vehicle and knew he was in possession of a stolen car, police said in a post on Facebook.

He was taken into custody without incident.
The car had been reported stolen, and the boy himself had been listed as missing.
He was taken to the juvenile detention center, but staff there refused to book him after he claimed he had smoked “a pound of fentanyl.”
A deputy then took him to a hospital, where he was medically cleared and returned to juvenile detention.
