An 18-year-old suspect was arrested in Chelan County following a Friday night shooting that sent a 22-year-old man to the hospital.
At approximately 11:54 p.m., Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies responded to the 100 block of E. Woodin Avenue after reports of gunfire, CCSO announced.
As deputies arrived on scene, witnesses reported seeing several individuals who fled the scene on foot.
Deputies then located a 22-year-old man on the sidewalk suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Crews provided immediate medical attention on-site before transporting the victim to Lake Chelan Hospital in stable condition.
During the investigation, deputies identified a vehicle that was associated with the shooting near Riverwalk Park.
