2 people shot in downtown Seattle, suspect arrested

Two people were shot in downtown Seattle Wednesday around 5 p.m., KIRO 7 reported.
A woman was shot in the head and a man was shot in the foot near 2nd Avenue and James Street, the media outlet reported.
The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Law enforcement arrested a suspect, according to KIRO 7. However, buses are being rerouted off Third Avenue as the Seattle Police Department investigates.
