Everett road rage incident escalates to shooting, 1 hospitalized

A road rage incident sent one victim to the hospital after a shooting ensued late Tuesday night in Everett.
At approximately 11 a.m., Everett Police Department (EPD) officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of 108th Street S.W. and 13th Avenue W., EPD announced.
Following the road rage incident, shots were fired at the scene. Officers arrived and located one male with apparent gunshot wounds.
The Everett Fire transported the victim to a local hospital for his injuries. The current health status of the victim remains unknown as of this reporting.
The suspect was believed to have fled the scene in a vehicle. EPD noted there is currently no suspect in custody.
EPD’s investigation remains ongoing and active, with no further information available at this time.
