The Washington State Patrol (WSP) needs your help to find a hit-and-run driver involved in a deadly crash this week in the SeaTac area.

On Sunday morning at approximately 3:22 a.m., police began receiving 9-1-1 calls about a crash on I‑5 South, just south of the South 200th Street on-ramp.

The driver of a Toyota Prius was pronounced dead at the scene.

WSP: 3 vehicles involved in deadly incident

“The investigation determined three vehicles were involved in the incident, which consisted of two collision events,” WSP stated in a news release. “The first collision left the victim vehicle disabled in the roadway, which led to the secondary collision with a Subaru.”

Investigators believe the driver who caused the first crash stopped and stayed at the scene briefly, but then took off.

“Detectives also recovered debris at the scene with Mercedes markings and believe the running vehicle may be a 2009-2017 two-door E-class coupe or similar style Mercedes,” WSP stated. “The suspect vehicle will have damage to the front passenger side corner and bumper.”

If you saw the crash or have any information, you are asked to contact Detective Aidan Lawlor at Aidan.Lawlor@wsp.wa.gov or call 360-890-1558.
