WSP searches for driver after pedestrian killed in Seattle hit-and-run

A pedestrian was struck and killed by two cars on I-5 south near Mercer Street in Seattle.
The hit-and-run occurred just before 1 a.m. last Sunday. One of the drivers stopped at the scene, but the other one kept going.
The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is now asking for the public’s help in identifying the second driver, who fled after the deadly crash.
Investigators said the vehicle they are looking for is a silver or white 2016–2020 Kia Optima.
Witnesses to hit-and-run asked to contact WSP
Anyone with information about the hit-and-run or the Kia Optima is asked to contact the Washington State Patrol by emailing Detective Bergeron at Judah.Bergeron@wsp.wa.gov.
