Person in custody after body discovered in Issaquah apartment fire

A person is in custody after a body was found following an apartment fire in Issaquah, KIRO 7 reported.

The person is being questioned after officers found a body inside the apartment building following a Tuesday morning fire, according to the Issaquah Police Department.

Police told KIRO 7 the fire was contained to the single apartment. The building is in the 300 block of Shangri-La Way Northwest.

Officials are investigating what caused the fire.
