Two men in Snohomish accused of illegally killing deer out of season, WDFW says

Two men in Snohomish illegally hunted a deer out of season in November, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) confirmed.
The department received credible information from witnesses that the two men shot and killed two deer out of season. One witness even provided a date and time-stamped video of one suspect skinning a deer.
After serving a search warrant at the home, in coordination with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, both men admitted to killing one deer.
“The primary suspect provided a full statement admitting to killing the deer and not checking the season,” WDFW stated. “Deer meat was taken from the freezer, and the head of a 2 x 3 buck was dug out of the ground.”
One of the suspects was a nine-time convicted felon. The gun that was used was seized, in addition to illegal drugs that were found within the home.
