Authorities are investigating the death of a 50-year-old man from the Poulsbo area as a homicide, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office said.
“Deputies were dispatched to investigate a suspicious death after the man’s body was found outside his home,” according to a post on the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. “Further investigation by deputies and the Kitsap County Medical Examiner found evidence of homicidal violence.”
KCSO detectives secured the house in the 22000 block of Big Valley Road NE, the post said. A forensic team arrived on the scene Monday to gather more evidence.
The sheriff’s office has not yet released details on the victim’s identity or cause of death.
