A 32-year-old Port Orchard man was arrested on Tuesday after he was found partially unconscious inside a parked car during a welfare check.
Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s vehicle and seized a loaded handgun, prepackaged drugs, packaging baggies, a scale, and a ledger, KCSO announced.
The suspect, a convicted felon, was booked into jail on illegal possession of a firearm, drug trafficking, driving under the influence, and warrant charges.
KCSO noted a female passenger and dog were also in the vehicle and were ultimately released.
