A lockdown was lifted following the arrest of multiple students at Evergreen Senior High School in White Center.
Three students were detained after deputies found guns on campus. One was allowed to go back to class, while the other two were booked into juvenile detention.
In response, the school was placed on a lockdown that began at 9 a.m. Wednesday and lasted several hours. Deputies searched the school grounds, recovering two handguns.
“Evergreen is currently in Lockdown,” Evergreen Senior High School posted on its website. “All students and staff are following emergency procedures. Do not call or come to the school.”
