Two people were found dead inside a Lake Limerick home Monday, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MSCO) confirmed.
An individual was sent to check on two people living in a home on the 2000 block of St. Andrews Drive N. When that person arrived, they found two individuals who appeared to be dead.
“MCSO deputies arrived on scene and confirmed that two people were deceased inside the residence,” MCSO wrote in a social media post. “MCSO detectives were notified and are currently processing the scene and conducting a thorough investigation. A significant law enforcement presence will remain in the area for the next several hours while this work is completed.”
Investigators stated there is no active threat to the public, as this is believed to be an isolated incident.
“MCSO understands the community’s concern and wants to reassure residents that the incident is being handled carefully and comprehensively,” MCSO continued.
