Man chased into homeless camp, stabbed twice near Mount Baker Light Rail station

A 35-year-old man was seriously injured after he was chased into a homeless encampment and stabbed twice in the leg on Tuesday night.
At approximately 5:50 p.m., Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to reports of a stabbing near the Mount Baker Light Rail station on Rainier Avenue S., according to KIRO 7.
As officers arrived, they found a man with two stab wounds to his leg. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious but stable condition.
Witnesses told SPD that two men chased the victim into a homeless encampment, stabbed him, and then fled the scene.
SPD officers searched through the area but did not locate any suspects.
