Mukilteo teen missing for a week found dead, police investigating

A missing teenager has been found dead, the Mukilteo Police Department confirmed.
The missing teen, a 15-year-old boy, was last seen in the area of Beverly Park Road in Mukilteo on Dec. 8. He was considered “endangered,” according to the police department.
Officers discovered a body a week later on Dec. 15. Three days later, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner confirmed the body was the missing teen.
“For the family’s privacy, and due to the sensitive nature of this incident, no further information will be released at this time,” the Mukilteo Police Department stated.
