Man shot three times in overnight shooting in East Queen Anne

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is investigating an overnight shooting that occurred in East Queen Anne.
SPD officers responded to the incident after dispatch received multiple reports of shots fired in a neighborhood in East Queen Anne at approximately 11 p.m. According to KIRO 7, one of the callers reported hearing someone yelling, “I’ve been shot!” as cars sped away.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the victim along Westlake Avenue North next to Lake Union suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was shot twice in his foot and once near his knee. SPD and other first responders took him to Harborview Medical Center. As of this reporting, he is in serious, but stable condition.
Detectives with the Gun Violence Reduction Unit within the SPD are launching an investigation. No arrests have been made at this time, as of this reporting.
